The Ultra Alpaca family of yarns from Berroco are really one of the most remarkable fibres I've worked with. Normally Alpaca has a lot of drape, which means that it kind of hangs and loses it's shape. This blend if different, it stands up at attention and has a remarkable amount of memory and stretch. The length you knit is the length your sweater will stay, and fitted sweaters keep their shape. The texture is slightly fuzzy, which means pilling isn't a concern, and the heathered colours possess an especially beautiful depth of colour.
